This web page was produced as an assignment for Genetics 564 at UW-Madison in Spring 2014.
My name is Gina Castelvecchi, and I will have graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2014 with a B.S. in genetics. I produced this web page as a semester-long assignment for Genetics 564, an undergraduate genomics and proteomics course. I'll be pursuing a Ph.D. through the Developmental, Regenerative, and Stem Cell Biology program, a part of the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences, at Washington University in St. Louis starting in August 2014.
I want to give a special thanks to Dr. Ahna Skop for her guidance and mentorship on this semester-long project, and to my classmates for their helpful feedback.
If you have any questions, comments, or feedback regarding my research on PEX1 and Zellweger Syndrome Spectrum, feel free to contact me.
